WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE ORTHOTIC ASSESSMENT PACKAGE?
The sessions included in the package are as follows:
Comprehensive Biomechanical Evaluation – 60 minutes:
During your first appointment, your physiotherapist will carry out a detailed assessment including:
- Standing posture analysis
- Walking and gait assessment
- Foot and ankle biomechanics
- Movement screening
- Footwear assessment
- Discussion of symptoms and activity levels
- Orthotic prescription and ordering
This appointment helps identify movement imbalances and pressure patterns that may be contributing to pain or reduced performance.
Orthotic Fitting & Review – 30 minutes :
Once your orthotics arrive, you will return for your fitting session where we will:
- Fit and assess your new orthotics
- Reassess walking and posture
- Ensure comfort and correct alignment
- Make any necessary adjustments
- Provide advice on adaptation and usage
The aim is to ensure your orthotics are functioning effectively and comfortably within your footwear and daily activities.
